Expected Schoolwide Learning Results
In addition to the goals listed above, the Expected Schoolwide Learning Results that grew out of the accreditation process also guide curriculum and instruction. These “ESLRs” came about through meetings and discussions involving community members, administration, faculty, parents, and students. They reflect the expectations for all students who receive a Mesrobian education.
Mesrobian students will be:
Capable communicators who effectively:
- speak
- write
- read
Learners who are:
- able to work independently
- able to set goals for themselves
- able to work cooperatively in a group
- able to set group goals
- able to use technology
Complex thinkers who:
- use higher-order thinking skills
- use appropriate problem-solving strategies
- are able to think critically
Good citizens who are:
- involved with the school community
- involved with the Armenian community
- involved with the community at large.
